Format and timing
Color Sprouts permits only full-screen contextual interstitials at the completion-to-next-picture transition. Ads never interrupt coloring, never appear as banners, and are not offered in exchange for rewards.
Child-directed configuration
The app uses Kidoz SDK 10.1.5 for child-directed contextual advertising. It does not request App Tracking Transparency authorization, access the advertising identifier, create a behavioral profile, or personalize ads from a child’s activity.
Every creative is human-reviewed
Kidoz’s public Safe Ad Policy states that all campaigns are manually reviewed for relevance and age-appropriate content and that every creative is verified by Kidoz’s in-house team. The same policy prohibits behavioral targeting and remarketing and says personal information is not shared with advertisers.
Data and storage
Kidoz may process non-linked advertising data, product interaction, approximate country, a periodically re-randomized short-lived session identifier, and technical service information for contextual delivery, frequency capping, ad measurement, security, fraud prevention, payment calculation, and service reliability. Kidoz says campaign data is deleted after 60 days and stores collected data on protected AWS data servers. See Kidoz’s Website and SDK Privacy Policy for full details.
Frequency and fail-open behavior
Eligibility begins after four completed pictures and is capped at two impressions per day. If an ad is unavailable, slow, or fails, the child continues to the next picture without delay or penalty.
Grown-up controls
The purchase, restore, disclosure, and inappropriate-ad report controls are protected by a parental gate. A verified Ad-free Family Edition entitlement prevents future ad requests.
Authorized inventory
The site publishes its current authorized sellers at /app-ads.txt following Kidoz’s publisher guidance.
