Our simple promise
Color Sprouts does not require an account and does not collect a child’s name, email address, birth date, precise location, contacts, photos, drawings, voice recordings, advertising identifier, or behavioral profile.
Information stored on the device
Completed activities, earned stars, and sound and touch-feedback preferences are stored locally using Apple’s on-device preferences system. Drawings and progress are not uploaded to Color Sprouts or shared with other players.
Purchases
Apple processes the optional USD 9.99 Ad-free Family Edition through StoreKit. Color Sprouts reads Apple-signed entitlement information to determine whether the purchase is active. The developer does not receive payment-card details.
Advertising and limited ad-service analytics
The free edition uses Kidoz SDK 10.1.5 to display contextual, child-directed advertising. Ads appear only at a natural break after four completed pictures, with a maximum of two impressions per calendar day. Color Sprouts does not use banner ads or rewarded ads, request App Tracking Transparency permission, access IDFA, or build a behavioral advertising profile.
There is no separate analytics SDK and no general child-behavior analytics. As part of advertising delivery, Kidoz’s SDK privacy manifest declares non-linked Advertising Data and Product Interaction for contextual advertising, limited analytics, security, fraud prevention, payment calculation, and service operation. These data are declared as not used for tracking.
Kidoz’s public SDK policy says it may process approximate country, a short-lived randomly generated session identifier that is periodically re-randomized, ad impressions and interactions, and technical non-personal service information. The app does not request GPS or Core Location access and does not supply an advertising identifier. Kidoz uses these limited data to select an appropriate country/language campaign, cap ad frequency, deliver and measure ads, and maintain service security and reliability.
The app separately stores the date and count of ad impressions only on the device to enforce its daily limit. That local count is not sent to the developer.
Third-party sharing, storage, and retention
Advertising-service data is transmitted only to Kidoz and the trusted service providers Kidoz uses to operate its service. Kidoz states that it does not share personal information with advertisers and does not use the data for behavioral targeting, remarketing, or cross-device tracking. Kidoz’s policy permits its service providers and contractors to process data only for requested operational services.
Kidoz states that its collected data is stored on AWS data servers with encrypted, password-protected, limited-access safeguards. Its Safe Ad Policy states that campaign data is deleted after 60 days; its SDK privacy policy also sets a maximum two-month retention period for approximate-country and short-lived identifier data. Color Sprouts does not operate a developer server and does not receive or store user-level advertising records.
Read Kidoz’s public Safe Ad Policy, Website and SDK Privacy Policy, and public iOS SDK documentation.
Human review of every advertisement
Kidoz’s public Safe Ad Policy states that all advertising campaigns are manually reviewed for relevance and appropriateness and that every creative is verified by Kidoz’s in-house team before it is eligible to be served. The policy also states that campaigns are checked to prevent personal-information collection. Families can report an inappropriate creative through the parent-gated Grown-up Center.
Reporting an advertisement
The parent-gated Grown-up Center provides a way to report an inappropriate ad. Sending a report opens the grown-up’s mail application and is optional. Families should never include a child’s name, drawing, photograph, voice recording, or other personal information.
Children’s privacy and external access
Color Sprouts has no accounts, chat, public profiles, user-generated-content sharing, social-network integration, or external links in the child play area. Purchasing, privacy details, ad reports, and grown-up settings are protected by an adult-level parental gate.
Website privacy
This information website does not use advertising cookies, behavioral analytics, accounts, or contact forms. Standard hosting security logs may be processed by the hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.
Questions and requests
Visit the official support page for purchase, privacy, and advertising help. Inappropriate Kidoz advertisements can be reported from the app without entering the child play area.
